Efter att porträtterat Kylo Ren i den senaste Star Wars-trilogin har Adam Driver varit en återkommande höjdpunkt för många fans på diverse mässor och fan-evenemang men nu verkar det vara nog för snart 40-åriga skådespelaren. I varje fall när det kommer till Comic-Con, något han berättade om när han nyligen gästade BBCs The Graham Norton Show.
I got in at the hotel at 2 in the morning... and I'm like, 'Maybe tomorrow I'll go get a coffee.' And they're like, 'Oh no, you can't get a coffee.' I'm like, 'Well, maybe I'll get a coffee in the hotel.' They're like, 'No, you can't get a coffee in the hotel... If you want to go outside,' they're like, 'Put a mask on so nobody knows who you are.' I opened my window, because I'd been in the room for 24 hours before this thing we were supposed to do and then there was a band at the bottom of the building playing the Star Wars theme on repeat, because we [the cast] were all staying in the hotel. It was scary. I saw what it was. I mean, it's nice. [But] I'm not anxious to go again.
Med en så pass dålig upplevelse av arrangemanget så kan man förstå att Driver fått nog och han är inte heller den första att uttrycka en viss avsmak till hela fan-kulturen kring Star Wars. Något John Boyega också pratat om. Vad tycker du, är detta en del av kändisskapet som stjärnorna bara skall acceptera eller håller du med?
