Under Bilbao International Games Conference fick våra spanska kollegor möjlighet att snacka med Tatiana Delgado, creative director hos Out of the Blue, utvecklaren bakom det nyligen släppta American Arcadia.
Under vår intervju kom vi att prata om mottagandet av spelet, och mer specifikt, hur Delgado och Out of the Blue vill att American Arcadia ska uppfattas. Hon sade bland annat:
"People are calling it The Truman Show game but it's much more than that. We want to surprise the player every turn. It has puzzles, it has a powerful story and it has a message too. So we want to tell people how we react to social media and these kind of things but also what the people are feeling playing this game is like they are watching a TV series."
Vi talade även om budskapet, där Delgado gick in på ytterligare detaljer om vad du kan förvänta dig om du kollar in American Arcadia.
"What we want to say is it doesn't matter You can be happy being yourself. You don't have to please others, there is no audience for you. So you just enjoy your life, you don't need to overshare things on internet just because the likes you receive makes you happy. Just be happy being yourself."
