Den väl kända branschanalytikern Michael Pachter tror att Wii U kommer att sälja väl, trots de negativa rapporter som drabbat konsolen sedan dess premiär. Pachter tippar att Nintendo kommer att sälja slut på konsolen fram till mars, vilket skulle innebära 5,5 miljoner sålda konsoler fram till slutet av nästa års första kvartal. Helt i linje med Nintendos prognos, alltså.
"Negativity overall will never go away so I expect the negativity to continue through the holidays. I don't think this has much impact on the launch and continue to expect launch quantities to be sold out, and reorders to remain sold out through March. The company probably will ship 3 million by Christmas, and all will be sold out."
