Ett politiskt laddat spel kallat Liyla and The Shadows of War has återigen placerats i spelkategorin efter att Apple ångrat sig angående dess klassificering. Detta efter att förra veckan ha meddelat palestinska utvecklaren Rasheed Abueideh att spelet hörde hemma i kategorin nyheter:
"Please revise the app category for your append remove it from Games, since we found that your app is not appropriate in the Games category. It would be more appropriate to categorize your app in News or Reference for example. In addition, please revise the marketing text for your app to remove references to your app being a game."
Situationen eskalerade när det uppmärksammades att ett annat spel där man styr en israelisk raket i en Angry Bird-klon däremot fick fortsätta säljas som vanligt, medan Liyla and The Shadows of War alltså inte fick vara kvar.
Nu har dock Apple tänkt om, vilket Abueideh bekräftat på Twitter: Just happening: Apple reconsider its decision, they will publish Liyla as a Game. Thanks to all of you.
