Efter att Team Bondi lades ned efter LA Noire har det varit tyst om studios, men förra året köptes resterna upp av Kennedy Miller Mitchell, och det bekräftades även att de jobbade på Whore of the Orient. Idag har man släppt ännu lite mer information om titeln.
Bland annat avslöjas att det inte blir tal om något spel till Playstation 3 eller Xbox 360, istället ska det komma till nästa generations konsoler och PC med Warner som utgivare. Samtidigt släppte man även en bild från titeln som kanske ger ett hum om var vi kan tänkas hamna grafiskt till Playstation 4 och Xbox 720.
Saxat från pressreleasen finns en beskrivning av spelet:
"Shanghai, 1936. Whore of the Orient. Paris of the East. The most corrupt and decadent city on the planet, where anything can be had or done for the right price.
"Plaything of Western powers who greedily exploit the Chinese masses. Boiling pot of Chinese nationalism, with the Kuomintang ruthlessly trying to suppress Communism and the labour movement. Home to the International Police Force, a group of Western cops hopelessly trying to keep the lid on and keep the peace."
