Nyligen uppvisade Tag Heuer Carrera Chronograph Tourbillon Extreme Sport (phuh) kostar alltså 309 995 kronor vilket är ett absolut ultrakap för en Tourbillon. Ett makalöst kap, med tanke på tekniken som driver den och hur prisläget ser ut för den typen av urverk, vanligtvis. Synd bara att designen är det sämsta Tag Heuer någonsin gjort. Absolut vedervärdigt, tyvärr. Visst ser många skeleton-tavlor ut som Lekia-klockor, om man vill sätta den sidan till, men här är det extremt. Denna 300 000-kronorsklocka ser verkligen ut som en JetSet/Diesel-klocka för 899 kronor. Go!

"The collection also features two variations of the Extreme Sport model equipped with a tourbillon regulator. One variant is presented in an all-black design, closely mirroring the aesthetic of the black Carrera Chronograph Extreme Sport, and it is truly a striking one. It comes with a 44mm Grade 2 titanium sandblasted case with a black PVD-coated hollowed side and is complemented by a black forged carbon tachymeter bezel with grey markings. The chronograph pushers are made from Grade 5 titanium, finely brushed and polished, and flank a signed crown crafted from the same material, distinguished by a contrasting sandblasted Grade 2 titanium ring.

The skeleton dial retains the openworked chronograph minute and hour counters at 3 and 9 o’clock, now featuring NAC-coated rings and rhodium-plated polished openworked hands. A black flange with a 60-minute/seconds track and a grey outline encircles the dial. The hands and indices match those of the non-tourbillon Carrera Chronograph Extreme Sport, maintaining the sleek black aesthetic. However, the running seconds subdial is replaced with an aperture that reveals the rhodium-plated tourbillon escapement, adding a defining feature to the design while omitting the date indication."
