Mario Kart Wii stod förra veckan för den åttonde bästa premiärveckan i Storbritannien genom alla tider. Nintendos bästa premiärvecka någonsin och spelet sålde faktiskt mer än de fem tidigare Mario-titlarna på Wii gjorde tillsammans under sina första veckor (Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games, Super Mario Galaxy, Mario Strikers: Charged Football, Super Paper Mario och Mario Party 8).
