Trots att DMC Devil May Cry ligger etta på den brittiska speltoppen och trots det faktum att det är första gången sedan Resident Evil 5 år 2009 som Capcom har ett spel som är det mest sålda (Resident Evil 6 blev bara tvåa), så är Capcom förmodligen inte helt nöjda. Försäljningen av spelet är nämligen bara en drygt tredjedel av vad Devil May Cry 4 sålde när det släpptes.
