Capcom avslöjar hur mycket speltid Leon får i Resident Evil Requiem

Under Game Awards fick vi bekräftelsen att Leon kommer att vara en spelbar karaktär i Resident Evil Requiem. Nu har spelets regissör Akifumi Nakanishi avslöjat att det inte bara rör sig om en kort cameo utan att vi faktiskt kommer att få spela en hel del med honom. I en intervju säger han att Grace och Leon har ungefär lika mycket speltid.

Han utvecklar vidare: "It's almost like having two games with completely different types of tension mixed together. Early on, we worried players might not be able to keep up, but now we feel that the contrast gives the game a unique rhythm, like jumping into a cold bath after sitting in a hot sauna.

The battle this time will probably push Leon to his limits more than ever before, and this is a crucial part of the experience. He's the type who doesn't hesitate to sacrifice himself to save others, but he's not arrogant about it, and he has a passionate inner self. I hope you'll also look forward to the dry wit and subtle sarcasm that only an older guy can bring."

Det verkar med andra ord som att den kommande Resident Evil-delen kommer bjuda på en väl avvägd mix av skräck och action. Spelet är inte så långt bort - redan den 27 februari kan vi spela det på PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2, Xbox Series S/X samt Microsoft Windows.
