Att utveckla spel som Cyberpunk 2077 är såklart svindyrt och därför har CD Projekt Red andra projekt som Gwent: The Witcher Card Game för att se till att de har en stadig inkomst. Men det är inte bara därifrån pengarna kommer, för The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt fortsätter vara en storsäljare över fyra år efter att det ursprungligen släpptes.
DDetta avslöjade de under ett möte med investerarna (via GamingBolt) nyligen, där högste chefen Piotr Nielubowicz avslöjade att spelet rent av sålde bättre första halvåret 2019 än samma period förra året:
"Our financial result for the first half of the year was again mainly affected by sales of The Witcher 3, which remain strong. This further confirms our belief that investing in top-quality games pays off, and that such games may continue to sell well for many years. In the first half of 2019 gamers actually purchased more copies of The Witcher 3 than during the first half of the previous year!"
