Tidigare idag kunde vi berätta att Crysis 4 från officiellt håll av misstag utannonserats via kinesiska sociala medier. Då spekulerade vi att ett formellt utannonserande skulle komma inom kort - och så blev det. Nu avslöjas att utvecklingen är igång och vi har även fått en kort teaser, som dock egentligen inte avslöjar mer än att det officiella namnet blir just Crysis 4" samt att vi ska få "join the journey" och "become the hero".
Men mer än så vet vi alltså inte, och det finns en bra anledning till det. I ett blogginlägg skriver Cryteks VD Avni Yerli att spelet befinner sig i ett tidigt utvecklingsskede och att det kommer att dröja innan vi får se det i all sin prakt:
"We are so pleased and excited to bring this news to you, and we really can't wait to reveal more details about what lies ahead. Right now the game is in the early stages of development so it will be a while yet, but we wanted to bring you the news at this time as we are so hyped for the future, and to let you know that we will be listening to our community."
Kort sagt återstår bara att vänta, men nu vet vi iallafall att det är på väg.
