Crystal Dynamics har lagt upp en FAQ där de går igenom vad som gäller för Rise of the Tomb Raider-exclusiviteten till Xbox 360 och Xbox One. Ingenting nämns angående versioner till PC, Playstation 3 eller 4. De beskriver det som att avtalet: "means that Rise of the Tomb Raider is coming Holiday 2015 exclusively on Xbox One and Xbox 360."
De skriver även att avtalet gäller under en begränsad tid men att: "we aren't discussing details of the deal, and are focused on delivering a great game on Xbox One and Xbox 360."
De fortsätter med att skriva att: "Crystal Dynamics is excited to be partnering with Microsoft to make the best game possible."
Vi kan i samma FAQ även läsa att Microsoft varit förtjusta i serien länge och att de genom samarbetet kommer: "help us grow and nurture the Tomb Raider franchise more than ever before. Our goal is to build the best game that we possibly can, and our relationship with Microsoft will help us realize our vision for the game."
