Japanska speltidningen Famitsu har som traditionen bjuder frågat sina läsare vilket spel de tycker är det mest efterlängtade. Som synes är det Persona 5 som ligger överlägsen etta (när man lägger samman Playstation 3 och 4), följt av Final Fantasy XV och Bravely Second: End Layer. Alla tre är japanska rollspel och det finns en hel del fler sådana på listan. De mest eftertraktade spelen finns främst till Playstation 4 (nio titlar), med Nintendo 3DS på en god andraplats (åtta titlar).
