Star Trek: Bridge Crew VR kan komma att få vilket Trek-fan som helst att att bli nostalgisk. Vi har pratat med Lead Social Systems Director Justin Achilli om de olika rollerna och vad de gör:

"Very simply, the Engineer is the role that provides energy to the various stations on the ship, so if you are the Engineer and I'm the Helmsman, I depend on you to give me energy so I can fly the ship, but the Tactical Officer also needs energy so they can fire the phasers and power the shields, and the Captain then has to make the decisions of which is more important, power for energy shields or energy [...] to get us out of here, Helmsman."

"So the decisions are basically made by what emerges over the course of the mission. Sometimes you'll face combat, sometimes you'll face strange anomalies, sometimes you'll face the unknown and therefore all of the roles that are dependent upon one another also rely on the Captain for the information and the decision-making so they can solve the mission successfully."

Kommunikationen mellan varje roll är alltså ytterst viktig och Star Trek: Bridge Crew VR kommer till PC och Playstation VR.
