Tecmos Dead or Alive Ultimate (eller DOA Online som det heter i Japan) har olyckligt nog blivit försenat. Både USA och Europa får vänta på det tills någon gång i sommar. Även japanerna får vänta längre än deras planerade release den 23: Mars. Orsaken är att Tecmo vill finslipa sitt spel och förbättra online-läget för att inte göra sina fans besvikna.
Tecmo säger i en pressrelease: "We have made the decision to push back [DOA Ultimate's] launch date to improve on the game's quality, increase its volume to a more satisfactory level, and to offer a better a [online] service. We appreciate the support from all fans of the Dead or Alive [series], and we will polish the game to make it meet the strong expectations from everyone."
