Hideo Kojima och Guillermo del Toro har fortfarande planer på att arbeta tillsammans med ett nytt projekt, trots meningsskiljaktigheterna mellan Kojima och Konami, samt nedläggningen av det lovande skräckspelet Silent Hills.
"I love working with Kojima-san. We are still in touch. We are still friends and working into doing something together, but that's not going to be Silent Hills." - berättade del Toro i en intervju till IGN.
Del Toro avslöjade också att Silent Hills bara var i planeringsstadiet när det avbröts och de hoppades på att det skulle bli ett spel som kunde tänja på gränserna till Playstation 4, samt en skräckupplevelse som verkligen förvirrade spelarens hjärna:
"We were in the planning stages, and it's a shame it's not going to happen. We were talking about really pushing the boundaries of the new consoles, and making the game really mess with your head. One of the great moments in Metal Gear [Solid] was Psycho Mantis. The idea that a game can actually interact with you, and stuff like that."
Det ska bli oerhört intressant att höra mer om vad paret planerar att koka ihop i framtiden.
