Dragon Quest-serien är inte lika populär som syskonet Final Fantasy i väst, men växer så det knakar för varje ny del. Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age blev en stor framgång som visade att det visst finns ett intresse för serien även här hos oss - och nu undrar många när det kan bli tal om en eventuell uppföljare.
När den kommer, vet vi dock inte - men vi kan slå fast att den är på väg åtminstone. Källan är nämligen seriens skapare, Yuji Horii, som på Twitter skriver:
"Last year we started with publishing the movie Dragon Quest: Your Story, then releasing the Switch version of Dragon Quest 11, the mobile version of DQ Walk, the announcement of The Adventure of Dai anime along with its game adaptation, the production of [DQ]12 and more; even now after 33 years have passed since I made the 1st game, I feel very glad that I can do new challenges like these."
