Anuman Interactive och Microïds har idag utannonserat två spel baserade på Asterix & Obelix, utvecklade av OSome Studio. Först och främst handlar det om en remaster av Asterix & Obelix XXL 2, men även en regelrätt uppföljare kallad Asterix & Obelix XXL 3. Förstnämnda släpptes ursprungligen 2005 till Playstation 2 och PC, och gör nu comeback den 29 november till PC, Playstation 4, Switch och Xbox One. Dessutom planeras två specialutgåvor:
- Asterix & Obelix XXL 2 Limited Edition, which will include the video game (for Playstation4, Xbox One or Nintendo Switch) as well as three figurines (Asterix, Obelix and Dogmatix).
- The Collector Edition 'these Gauls are crazy!' (for the Playstation 4 and Nintendo Switch versions) which will include the video game, a resin figurine and other surprises to be discovered very soon.
Asterix & Obelix XXL 3 släpps i slutet av nästa år och vi kommer få spela både som Asterix och Obelix, både ensam och med en vän. Vilka format som är aktuella vet vi inte ännu.
