PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds har fortfarande inte släppts officiellt, och är i så kallad Early Access-fas. Trots det har det sålt över 22 miljoner och snart kommer det till Xbox One. Men det är en till version på gång, nämligen till smartphones.
Det är kinesiska giganten Tencent, ägare av flera studios (däribland Riot Games), som kommer se till att detta blir verklighet. Såhär kommenterar Ma Xiaoyi (senior vice president på Tencent Group) och Kim Changhan (chef för PUBG Corp) saken i ett gemensamt uttalande:
"Thanks to the excellent accumulation of PUBG on the PC terminal and the teamwork between the two teams, the progress of the mobile game preparation is very smooth and in the near future, Chinese players can enjoy the genuine game anytime, anywhere on the mobile phone."
