Last month we reported on the potential for Critical Force's mobile game Critical Ops to be a hit in the mobile esports scene, and now it seems Hammer Esports has recognised that potential too. The organisation has acquired the Kings Clan, as announced on Hammer Esports' official website, a move which is driven by the success of Critical Force's mobile title.
"As an organisation initially developed in mobile esports, Hammers Esports is no stranger to understanding the keys to competitive success and growing brand recognition," the announcement reads. "It's because of this that we've decided to acquire the Kings Clan—the most dominant mobile FPS group of players joining our ranks. The Kings Clan has ruled the mobile FPS scene for years and have quickly become the top of the ranking clan in each competitive mobile FPS title. Even today, all the of current top-teams in C-Ops have Kings' lineage within its roster. The Kings Clan competitive roster and leadership has not only remained at the top of their competitive game, but they've done so while keeping their family community environment intact and we only aim to preserve and strengthen this experience."
All of the Kings Clan family have made their way into Hammers Esports unscathed, and Hammer Esports hopes that it can help the Critical Ops scene grow along with other mobile esports organisations like Team Phoenix and Gankstars.
"Stay tuned for our newly branded "Hammers Esports" competitive teams in all upcoming C-Ops matches and competitions across NA and EU—Welcome to the #HAMFAM," they conclude, and there's also a trailer accompanying the announcement. How well do you think Kings Clan will do under Hammer's banner?
