Esports organisation Evil Geniuses have announced that Grant 'GranDGranT' Harris is joining them as a streamer, a figure who is known in the world of Dota 2 as an analyst, caster, and more.

"It's an honour to be working with one of the oldest and most prestigious organisations in esports," GranDGranT himself said. "Since the early 2000's, when I watched both Starcraft as well as Dota 1, I fell in love with bleeding blue and grew up cheering for the team. It feels less like joining an org today and more like joining a family of a bunch of people I already consider family. I can't wait to work with everyone and represent EG the best I can!"

Evil Geniuses assures fans that GranDGranT will be the same figure with the same "unique style" in the organisation, and COO Phil Aram says: "We couldn't be more thrilled to formally adopt Grant into the EG family. He's always been the voice of North American Dota, and now he is going to be an official voice of EG, too. We look forward to helping him continue to grow his fan base and find ways to plug him into everything we are doing."

How important do you think streamers are for an organisation?
