Overwatch League side Dallas Fuel has revealed that it's making some changes to the coaching staff heading into 2020, welcoming back Aaron 'Aero' Atkins as head coach, while Yong-jin 'Yong' Kim comes in as assistant coach.
Louis 'Tikatee' Lebel-Wong and Min-Gyu 'Vol'Jin' Kang will also be returning as well, with these changes moving former assistant coach Justin 'Jayne' Conroy to the role of content creator for Envy Gaming.
"Aero returning to the Fuel is one of the things I'm most excited about for the upcoming season," said Mike Rufail, owner of the Dallas Fuel. "We've made a lot of changes to our lineup this offseason, but we know the stability and focus that Aero brings to the coaching staff will pay off. There's no better sign of his progression as one of the top coaches in Overwatch than seeing him lead Team USA to the recent World Cup win."
Aero has coached the team before, along with Fusion University and Team USA, so he's had a ton of experience, as does Yong, who has coached Element Mystic in Overwatch Contenders.
"Yong has been on fire this year, and he's not slowing down," Aero said. "He clearly has what it takes to bring a team to victory, and I can't wait to see what we can accomplish together during the 2020 season. I think it's going to be a great year for the Fuel with his guidance, our returning staff and the roster we've assembled."
