ESL has announced that its next Dota 2 tournament, ESL One Germany, will be held October 5 - November 1. The competition will see 16 of the best teams from Europe and CIS battle it out for a share of $400,000.

The competition is set to take place completely online and will take a Swiss format, where teams will play five matches and will need three wins to advance to the playoffs. Eight teams will then progress to the playoff stage which will, of course, result in one overall winner being crowned.

The winner in the competition will receive $150,000, second place will earn $80,000 and third place will take home $45,000.
