Another major tournament has concluded in the 2021 Counter-Strike: Global Offensive calendar year and it has seen Gambit Esports take home the victory at the Intel Extreme Masters Katowice 2021 event.

Following a few weeks of competition, the tournament has concluded with Gambit defeating Virtus.pro 3-1 in the finals to claim the $400,000 prize pool. The actual finals series was quite one-sided, with V.P taking the first map, before Gambit proceeded to put on a dominant showing, winning the next two maps 16-6 and 16-4. The final map was once again close, put Gambit closed it out 16-12 to take home the tournament.

The next event in the CS:GO calendar year will be the ESL Pro League Season 13, which will test again whether Gambit can replicate such a performance.
