Xbox 360 och Xbox One kommer att få exklusiva TV-program tidigt nästa år, berättar Microsofts TV-ansvarige Nancy Tellem för Variety. Vad det rör sig om rent konkret är ännu inte bekräftat, men vi vet att en Halo-serie regisserad av Spielberg i tätt samarbete med 343 är på gång.
"We aren't Netflix, we aren't Amazon, we're a different animal", förklarar Tellem i ett uttalande som låter som att Microsoft har problem med att övertala TV-bolagen om att satsa på just Xbox 360 och Xbox One.
"We're neither or we're a little like them. It all depends. The lack of black and white and this is the template and this is what we're following is very difficult. As we continue to do deals everyone's going to get more comfortable."
"Depending on the piece of content, the deals change. We're talking about exclusives, exclusive first windows, exclusive second windows."
Klart står att Microsoft satsar fortsatt stenhårt på att göra Xbox One till en oumbärlig multimediamaskin.
