Superhjältefilmer är inte vad de en gång var, och spänningen från eran med Winter Soldier, Avengers och Guardians of the Galaxy är numera ett avlägset minne för de flesta. Det behövs något nytt och annorlunda som rör runt i grytan. Vilket nu Fantastic Four-regissören Matt Shakman utlovar när han i en intervju med Collider beskrev sin kommande superhjältefilm som något helt unikt och olikt allt annat vi tidigare sett från Marvel.
"It's different in so many ways. I wish I could be specific. I wish I could say more. But we are doing things very differently from a story standpoint, from an approach to the filmmaking standpoint, that really fits the material. I wish I could say more. I would love to, but I can't. But I think it's going to be unlike anything you've seen before, and certainly unlike anything at Marvel that you've seen before."
Inspelningen av filmen kommer att påbörjas i klassiska Pinewood Studios så snart strejken i Hollywood nått sitt slut, och premiären är spikad till den 2:a maj 2025 som en del av MCU fas sex.
