Floofy Fury-skinnet i Call of Duty är ett plagiat

Det ytterst söta Floofy Fury-skinnet till Call of Duty: Vanguard visades upp under förra veckan och alla som spelar Activisions hyperpopulära actionpartaj vet ju mycket väl hur mycket det satsats på Fortnite-tokiga trams-skins på slutet. Det verkar dock som om Activision samt utvecklarna Treyarch saknat inspiration och fantasi då de ser ut att ha stulit designen på Samoy-jycken som utgör Floofy-kostymen. Illustratören Sail Lin har presenterat bevis (här) på att han designade kostymen/skinnet för över två år sen och att han inte kontaktats av Activision eller fått någon slags ersättning för att det nu används i Call of Duty.

"I only just found out at the time of the announcement that my work was plagiarized. Even though I am also a COD player, I am very disappointed to see my work being plagiarized by a big company like Activision in this way. I have reached out to Activision for an explanation and/or compensation, and hopefully the situation will be settled soon. As an individual artist, I can only do so much, and I have to speak out about this to stop things like this happening again in the future."
