"We wanted to expand on that foundation [from previous Need for Speed games], so we chose the location of the southwestern US so that it has a wide swath of a city, with a glamorous side and a gritty side, you've got the canyons which are gorgeous, we've got mountains which give you that fresh feeling, and then we've got this massive desert in the middle that connects all of these different districts.
What we've built is this playground where you can just explore, there's different aesthetics, there's different gameplay based on different locations, and for the first time in Need for Speed, we've got a 24 hour time of day cycle, so no matter where you go, you're going to see something new, there's going to be a new vibe."
Ho berättade även om Need for Speed Payback-karaktärerna och storyn, och det hela resulterade i en ovanligt matig intervju du kollar in här nedan.
