Game designern för Beyond Good & Evil 2 har dött

Emile Morel har dött, endast 40 år gammal. Han har varit hos Ubisoft i 14 år och arbetat på bland annat Rayman Legends...

Game designern Emile Morel är en Ubisoft-veteran som varit hos företaget i 14 år, och som tidigare varit involverad i Rayman Legends, och under de senaste åren har han jobbat på Beyond Good & Evil 2. Men tragiskt nog får han aldrig se sitt projekt avslutas, då han nu avlidit, endast 40 år gammal.

Ubisoft Montpelliers producent Greg Hermittant kommenterar förlusten av sin kollega på LinkedIn och skriver:

"Rest in peace my dear Emile Morel

You've been such a great and kind partner during all these years at Ubisoft.
I'm grateful to have worked with you on so many projects. Even through the most difficult times, you always remained the caring and supportive person you were with your beautiful positive mind.

But the most important is the wonderful moments we had. With no doubts Rayman Legends is my best memory. I will miss our private jokes and imitations.

You will miss Beyond Good & Evil. Be assured we will continue your work.

Beyond Good & Evil 2 verkar tyvärr vara långt borta och utvecklingen problematisk, men förhoppningsvis kommer det släppas så småningom så att vi får njuta av Emile Morels sista verk.
