Som du säkert vet är Game of Thrones-författaren George R. R. Martin även författare till FromSoftwares kommande Elden Ring. Men hans insatser idag är tämligen begränsade och hans arbete med spelet gjordes faktiskt klart för många år sedan.
I en intervju med WTTW News Chicago förklarade han sin roll i projektet och sin insats så här:
"My work on it was actually done years ago. These games, they're like movies, they take a long time to develop. Basically, they wanted a world created to set the game in. I worked up a fairly detailed background for them and then they took it from there. So really it's been several years since I've last seen them but they would come and periodically show me some monsters they'd designed or the latest special effects, or [other] cool things."
Martin har fortfarande inte heller sett spelet och säger att han är "as excited as anybody else to see it". Som det avslöjades på Summer Game Fest för nästan två veckor sedan, lanseras Elden Ring den 21 januari till PC, Playstation och Xbox.
