Giants Gaming were previously relegated from the EU LCS Spring Split this year, however, there's good news for fans of the organisation, as they have no re-qualified for the tournament after an impressive run in the promotion tournament.
This came after a tense match between themselves and Schalke 04, with the stakes pretty high as you can imagine. Losing the first game couldn't have been easy, then, but Giants responded well, and earned themselves the right to compete among the best again.
No doubt Schalke will be disappointed, though, as their ambitions have always been high, but Giants Gaming fully deserved the promotion, and will no doubt be hoping for a great future in the EU LCS. Did you expect this result?
