Efter utannonserandet och förtitten på Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy, fick vi oss även ett samtal med utvecklarna om det kommande spelet. Eidos-Montreals nya singleplayer-äventyr är ett storydrivet sådant där vi axlar rollen som Peter Quill, Star-Lord, ledare för Guardians of the Galaxy, med uppdraget att rädda universum.
Äventyret är fullt av referenser till både serietidningarna och filmerna, där dräkterna är ett exempel på sistnämnda. Marvels Guardians of the Galaxy innehåller som bekant skins - som trevligt nog inte gömmer sig bakom betalvägg - vilka du låser upp genom att utforska världen. Vi ville veta mer om detta, och senior narrative director Mary DeMarle förklarade:
"We do have a lot of outfits in the game. I think we have around 39 different outfits that are in the game, and they are inspired by everything, from the movies to the comics, so you'll find some very classic outfits. It's all cosmetics, so they don't affect the abilities or how anyone plays."
DeMarle fortsatte med att berätta hur vi hittar dessa dräkter:
"The way you find them is, as you're going through the levels, you're exploring, and you're looking through little nooks and crannies and secret hideaways, and when you go and explore these secret areas, you can find everything, from crafting parts to upgrade the perks for your equipment, you can find outfits and put them on the characters right away, you can find things like these Guardians collectibles, that allow you to... They are items that are valuable to your teammates."
DeMarle tillade också att "we have a photo mode too, so when you put the costumes on, you can do the photo mode and all that".
Det låter väl som bra lösningar rakt igenom? Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy släpps den 26 oktober till PC, Playstation 4/5, Switch, Xbox One och Xbox Series S/X.
