Idag tillkännagavs nomineringarna för den 82:a årliga Golden Globe-galan, med Mindy Kaling och Morris Chestnut som presentatörer. Den franska gangster-musikalen Emilia Pérez toppar listan med hela tio nomineringar, vilket gör den till den mest nominerade musikalen eller komedin i Golden Globes historia.
Bland de nominerade för Bästa dramafilm återfinns The Brutalist, A Complete Unknown, Conclave, Dune: Part Two, Nickel Boys och September 5. I kategorin Bästa musikal eller komedi konkurrerar Anora, Challengers, Emilia Pérez, A Real Pain, The Substance och Wicked.
På tv-sidan dominerar FX/Hulu-serien The Bear som lyckats bli nominerad i hela fem kategorier, bland annat för bästa TV-serie men också för flera av seriens skådespelare. Däribland Jeremy Allen White, Ayo Edebiri, Ebon Moss-Bachrach och Liza Colón-Zayas.
Den svenska regissören Magnus von Horns film Flickan med nålen, som är Danmarks Oscarsbidrag, har nominerats i kategorin Bästa icke-engelskspråkiga film. Dessutom har Lykk med Miley Cyrus och Andrew Wyatt, nominerats för Bästa originalsång med låten Beautiful That Way från filmen The Last Showgirl.
Galan, som är den 82:a i ordningen, kommer att äga rum den 5:e januari 2025 på Beverly Hilton i Los Angeles, med komikern Nikki Glaser som värd. Under ceremonin kommer Viola Davis att tilldelas Cecil B. DeMille Award och Ted Danson kommer att hedras med Carol Burnett Award för sina karriärer.
Bland de mest uppmärksammade nomineringarna finns Timothée Chalamet för sin roll som Bob Dylan i A Complete Unknown och Ariana Grande för sin prestation som Glinda i Wicked. Även Donald Glover och Maya Erskine har fått nomineringar för sina roller i tv-serien Mr. & Mrs. Smith.
