Kan Nintendo 3DS tävla med 3D-TV? Det tror i alla fall Nintendo, som i den senaste delen av frågestunden Iwata Asks berättar att producenter i Hollywood är "intensivt intresserade" av den kommande bärbara konsolen.
"People making 3D content today are having trouble because of a lack of output. There may be an outlet at movie theaters, but not in televisions at home. While 3D televisions are on sale, I don't think 3D televisions requiring the use of special glasses will catch on that quickly," förklarar Iwata.
Men hittills verkar det mest röra sig om trailers för 3D-filmer. På E3 i fjol visade Nintendo upp trailers för bland annat How to Train Your Dragon med Nintendo 3DS. Man kommer att samarbeta med Disney, Dreamworks och Warner Bros.
"As a matter of fact, when we show Nintendo 3DS to people in Hollywood, they're intensely interested. I think lots of people would be happy if they could watch things like 3D movie trailers on their Nintendo 3DS," fortsätter Iwata.
