Det var för över tre år sedan vi först hörde talas om Team Icos kommande Last Guardian. Tanken var att det skulle släppas 2011, men inget hände och tystnaden var kompakt. Undan för undan har Team Ico-höjdarna sagt upp sig från studion och vilken status spelet har idag är det ingen som vet.
Igår fick franska Jeux Video chansen att fråga Sony Computer Entertainment-bossen Shuhei Yoshida om han åtminstone kunde lova att spelet kommer att släppas under nästa år. Men Yoshida hade inga positiva besked att ge.
"No, sorry, I can not say that ... Because the last time we talked about a date for The Last Guardian, we finally disappointed many people. But I can tell you that the team is working hard on the project, including the engine. It is precisely because the teams working on the technical aspect of the game that we have nothing concrete to show you today. So now I'm waiting for the right time to introduce you to The Last Guardian and speak with confidence of a release date.", sade Yoshida.
Då är frågan om Playstation 4 inte hinner ut innan Last Guardian och om spelet därmed kanske rent av bytt format. Är du fortfarande sugen på att få spela Last Guardian, allt strul till trots?
