Dead by Daylight har inte utökats med någon ny spelbar karaktär sedan kapitlet Doomed Course släpptes i slutet av november. Nu är dock nästa mördare uppvisad och denna gång var det en mycket oväntad karaktär som Dead by Daylight släppt in i speluniversumet. Den nya mördaren är nämligen Ken Kaneki från mangan Tokyo Ghoul. Den nya slaktaren går nu att prova på att spela som på spelets testservrar och släpps till samtliga format 2 april.
