Trilobyte Games har nu lanserat sin Kickstarter-kampanj för att få resurser att utveckla en tredje del i deras skräckpusselsaga The 7th Guest. I det tänkta The 7th Guest: 3 kommer vi att få stöta på ett nytt hus med 20 pussel (faktum är att även huset i sig självt utlovas vara ett pussel). Själva spelbarheten lär ska påminna om originalet från 1993, men studion planerar att använda modern teknik (tryckkänsliga skärmar exempelvis) för att modernisera konceptet. Kickstarter-kampanjens mål är inte helt oansenliga $435 000.

The team's in place; new puzzles are in development, and the most notorious villain in all gaming, Henry Stauf, is poised to return and finish the story that begin in The 7th Guest. With the launch of our Kickstarter campaign, we're turning to our fans and the gaming community to provide the only remaining ingredient, development and production funding."
