Vissa av karaktärerna i Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain ska designas om för att bli mer erotiska. Detta för att uppmuntra till cosplay.
Det kontroversiella uttalandet kommer rakt ifrån Hideo Kojimas Twitterkonto där han i en rad inlägg förklarar hur han resonerar kring saken.
"I've been ordering to Yoji to make the character more erotic, and he did it well. Recently I've been making characters this way."
"I create the setting thoroughly, how he/she spent early life, name, style, favorite phrase, fashion, action to stand the character out."
"The initial target is to make u want to do cosplay or its figurine to sell well."
Det är oklart om Kojima syftar på en enskild karaktär eller bara karaktärer rent allmänt eftersom att han refererar till karaktärer i plural och säger "honom/henne".
