Ytterligare information från rättegången mellan Activision Blizzard/Xbox och FTC har läckt ut. Härom dagen rapporterades det att Elder Scrolls VI troligen inte släpps tidigare än 2028, och nu har vi även fått ta del av Microsofts tankar kring tiden för nästa generations konsollanseringar.
Det var angående Microsofts löfte att fortsätta släppa Call of Duty-serien till Playstation tio år efter ett eventuellt uppköp, som Microsoft sade att Sony kommer få Call of Duty även till sin nästa konsol:
This term would in any case go beyond the expected starting period of the next generation of consoles (in 2028). Thus, Call of Duty will be published on successor PlayStation consoles should one be released during the term of the agreement. The agreement also would ensure that Call of Duty console games are offered on PlayStation at parity with Xbox.
Detta är ett direkt svar på ett dokument Sony släppte förra året, där de argumenterade mot uppköpet av Activision Blizzard genom att hävda att de skulle förlora Call of Duty på Playstation 2027, och att Playstation 6 därmed skulle stå utan den populäre militärskjutaren.
