Kommer du ihåg när Xbox One lanserades? Och då talar vi inte bara om hur Microsoft fick backa på praktiskt taget alla unika funktioner konsolen hade efter ett stort gamer-raseri, utan om det faktum att den liksom Playstation 3 bara kom i vissa länder medan bland annat Sverige blev utan. Konsolen såldes dock som vanligt ändå via import överallt i en av de sämsta lanseringarna någonsin.
Det här är dock något Microsoft hoppas på att kunna undvika denna gång och målsättningen är lyckligtvis att alla den ska börja säljas den 7 november i alla de 42 länder Xbox One nu finns i. Våra utsända frågade en Microsoft-representant om detta på E3 och fick svaret:
"We are working very hard to ship in all 42 markets, starting on November 7th. We're going to get as many on November 7th as we possibly can. We heard the feedback from the Xbox One launch, no doubt about it.
But the team and I are working very hard to make sure that it is available on November 7th. Of course we're going through all the steps to make that happen, but it's been a design goal from right up front that we wanted to launch together in as many countries as we possibly could, and certainly, more than the Xbox One launched, that I am very confident we will have.
Whether it's all 42 markets on November 7th, or whether there's a few stragglers that we have to get by the end of the calendar year, or hopefully not any further than that, we'll see as we get closer since we're about five months from the launch."
