Manusförfattaren Greg Russo har flera filmatiseringar av TV-spel på gång, där han förutom en Mortal Kombat-film även arbetar på en Resident Evil-reboot, en Space Invaders-film och en Saints Row-rulle. Om han själv fick välja skulle han också mycket gärna arbeta på en Bioshock-film och påstår till Comic Book att han sitter på en riktigt bra idé för att filmatisera klassikern från Irrational Games:
"I would love to figure out a way to do BioShock and I've tried. I've been like elbowing everybody I can possibly find, because I think I have a really awesome way to do it that would be really fun. And bring the horror of it to the forefront and hopefully keep the budget at a manageable price. But yeah, that's one that I'd absolutely adore, that be a lot of fun to work on."
Gore Verbinski har tidigare försökt göra en barnförbjuden Bioshock-film hos Universal Pictures, men filmbolaget lade ner projektet på grund av dess massiva budget. Vill du se en Bioshock-film?
