Gamereactor var på plats under Jump Festa i Japan den gångna helgen och pratade bland annat med Kazutoki Kono om Ace Combat 7, vilket som bekant ska släppas till Playstation VR. Ett kontroversiellt beslut på sina håll där många velat ha en mer traditionell del i serien. Det var något han medgav och sade att "we think it's a very big challenge", men med tillägget: "we're very confident."
"In Playstation VR the players will be able to sit at a real cockpit and look around the sky while they're flying freely around. And what's very unbelievable is that after the players look back at playing Playstation VR they only have the memory of being inside that universe, of being able to fly as a pilot; they don't really remember the screen, the monitor. They just have the memory of going inside that true world." </i>Kono explained via a translator.
Kono ville däremot inte svara på när Ace Combat 7 ska släppas, men menade att det ska bli det bästa spelet i serien och manade fansen till tålamod.
