Helt överraskande lade EA ned NBA Elite 11 för två år sedan, spelet som skulle bli deras stora NBA 2K-utmanare. Men i sista sekund lades det ned, spelet höll enligt EA inte måttet.
Nu har historien upprepat sig. NBA Live 13 skulle ha släppts nästa månad men blev försenat. Nu säger EA att man inte kommer släppa det alls då det återigen inte var nog bra.
EA Sports-bossen Andrew Wilson säger: "Making great games is not easy, and we're just not there yet on NBA Live 13".
"Having continued to look at the game over the past few days, it's clear that we won't be ready in October. And rather than launch midway through the season, we're going to sit out the full year and stay focused on making next year's game great.", avslutar han.
