De oväntat underhållande NES Remix-spelen har fått många spelare att önska sig samma sak, fast med fler format som Game Boy eller Super Nintendo. Och det är inget Nintendo utesluter. Tvärtom är det möjligt att det blir av, och det tack vare just fansens engagemang, skriver Joystiq. Spelets producent Koichi Hayashida säger:
"If we get a big enough cry for that, with a lot of people saying, 'Hey, we'd love to see more of these perhaps for the SNES, Game Boy or Game Boy Advance,' then it would be something we can take a look at."
