Det var i en alldeles purfärskt nygjord intervju med polska speltidningen Gamepressure som Techlands storchef och grundare Pawel Marchewka skvallrade lite om vad studion bakom Dead Island och Dying Light pysslar med just nu. Det ena är en uppföljare till ett av deras tidigare spel (mest troligt Dying Light 2) medan det andra är ett rollspel i en öppen spelvärld, en första del i en helt ny spelserie. De båda titlarna har en gemensam budget på cirka 600 miljoner kronor och baseras på båda på studions egen grafikmotor.
"We're currently working on not one, but two new titles. We estimate their total budget to be around $77 million, so these will be so-called AAA games. One of them is a fantasy game with a big, open world and RPG elements, with single-player as well as co-op multiplayer. It is not an evolution of Hellraid."
