Kevin Smith gör He-Man-anime till Netflix

Vi vet ju att en He-Man-reboot är på gång och att evighetsprojektet får premiär nästa år, men det roliga tar inte slut där. Nu avslöjar nördprofilen Kevin Smith att han arbetar på en anime baserad på de muskulösa leksakerna till streamingjätten Netflix i samarbete med Mattel TV. Serien - som kommer att spinna vidare på oavslutade historier från den kultförklarade 80-talsserien - kommer att heta Masters of the Universe: Revelation och Smith kommer att vara både showrunner och exekutiv producent. Så här uttalade han sig om saken:

"I'm Eternia-ly grateful to Mattel TV and Netflix for entrusting me with not only the secrets of Grayskull, but also their entire Universe. In 'Revelation,' we pick up right where the classic era left off to tell an epic tale of what may be the final battle between He-Man and Skeletor! Brought to life with the most metal character designs Powerhouse Animation can contain in the frame, this is the Masters of the Universe story you always wanted to see as a kid!"

Producenten Rob David tillade:
