With the Overwatch League set to return in around a month, the Philadelphia Fusion has made a move to bolster its coaching staff. The former Overwatch Contenders coach Sung-min "SUNGMIN" Cho is joining the Fusion as an assistant coach for the 2022 season.

As for Sungmin's resume, while an Overwatch League rookie, he previously coached O2 Blast when they won Contenders Korea Season Two last year, and before that also worked with RunAway and Team BM.

With this signing, the Fusion has a decent sized coaching staff, with Hyo-jin "J1N" Cho as the head coach, and Jung-yeon "Chara" Kim serving as an assistant coach alongside Sungmin.

The Overwatch League's 2022 season starts on May 5, with the Fusion first playing on May 6 at 11:00 BST / 12:00 CEST, against the Shanghai Dragons.
