Det kan vara lätt att glömma att Platinum Games faktiskt lanserade ett nytt spel i början av mars, helt enkelt för att det - Babylon's Fall - till synes försvunnit från jordens yta. Siffrorna från SteamDB förklarar tydligen magnituden av floppen där det dagliga antalet spelare ligger på ungefär 300 personer, och bara en tiondel av detta på Twitch.
Trots denna undermåliga lansering har Platinum Games lyckligtvis inte för avsikt att ge upp Babylon's Fall ännu, och har släppt ett uttalande om saken. Som svar på frågan "Är den fortsatta driften i fara?", svarade Platinum Games såhär:
"No, there are no plans to reduce the scale of development on Babylon's Fall. Content up to the end of Season 2 is now practically complete and we have started work on Season 3 and beyond. We will continue to provide new content for the game and make improvements based on player feedback, striving to keep existing players playing and to attract newcomers.
We would like to thank all Sentinels already enjoying the world of Babylon's Fall, as we look forward to welcoming more of you in the future!"
