Racingsimulatorn Rennsport finns nu tillgänglig på Steam

Fram till nu har såväl alfa-testet som det stängda och sen även det öppna beta-testet av kommande racingsimulatorn Rennsport funnits enbart hemma hos Epic Game Store men nu meddelar tyska studion The Competition Company att Steam-premiären avklarats.

After a little more than a year on the Epic Games Store, we are now expanding RENNSPORT to another platform with Steam. Our goal has always been to make sure we make the game available to as many people as possible and we've heard your feedback on this topic loud and clear! In this post, we've gathered some information and good-to-knows to get you started.

Playtest
RENNSPORT on Steam will launch as a playtest where anyone who wants to can access. You simply click the "Request Access" button on the Steam store page and you will be automatically accepted and can download the current version of the Open Beta.

Cross play and cross progression
On Steam, you will have access to the same content as on the Epic Games Store - that means the same races, your profile, your achievements and the same community. This way you can choose which platform you want to play on and still join the same races as people on other platforms.

Founder's Packs
At this time, it is not possible to buy the Founder's Packs on Steam. These will be available once we move from Open Beta to Early Access later this year. If you have already purchased any of the Founder's Packs via the Epic Games Store, your content will also be available on Steam when you sign in with the same RENNSPORT account that you made the purchase with.

Time to race
The first cross play races will begin later today as the Steam version is launched, and in the evening you might even race against some RENNSPORT developers!
