Även om det fortfarande utvecklas traditionella singleplayer-spel, så så krymper det stadigt och till och med utvecklare som Bioware och Bethesda har nu gett sig på multiplayer medan kampanjen slungades ut för första gången någonsin i Call of Duty: Black Ops 4. Så hur blir det med finska utvecklaren Remedy då, de har ju hittills bara gjort singleplayer såsom Alan Wake, Quantum Break och kommande Control? Svaret är att de inte har några planer på att överge detta koncept.
Deras presschef Thomas Puha kommenterar nämligen detta såhär i en intervju hos VG247:
"No, we're not pivoting away from single-player games. The one assumption I do want to correct is that a lot of people at Remedy have been there for a long time. It's not like we always want to be making the exact same thing either. A lot of us like multiplayer games a lot - and other types of games. So it's like we look at it [and say], 'It would be fun to try to do something and find our way in that world', and Remedy tends to be pretty careful, for a good reason."
Control släpps den 27 augusti och precis som deras tidigare äventyr så står singleplayer i fokus.
